Assignment Details

  • Primary Location: Oceanside, CA 92054
  • Field Work: Travel to active job sites across Southern California for field photography. Service areas include LA County, Orange County, San Diego County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, Ventura County, and surrounding regions. Mileage reimbursement provided.
  • Duration: 2-3 months (project-based)
  • Schedule: Flexible hours, coordinated with the team. Must be available for on-site and field photography during business hours (Mon-Fri, 7 AM - 4 PM) as needed. Field visits will be scheduled around active service calls and installations.
  • Reports To: Company ownership / project lead

Key Deliverables

  • Complete library of edited, web-optimized photography covering shop operations, field service work, equipment, and team members
  • Social media-ready photo content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X
  • All 65-80 website pages finalized with real photography, brand-consistent styling, and production-ready quality
  • Branded visual design package for the company training platform (login, dashboard, module UI, certificates, graphics)
  • Organized asset handoff package for the web/SEO team to complete WordPress implementation

Required Skills & Experience

  • Photography: Ability to shoot professional-quality industrial and commercial photography both on-site and in the field. Must own or have access to appropriate camera equipment (DSLR or mirrorless). Experience shooting in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial environments is strongly preferred. Comfortable working around active job sites and heavy equipment.
  • Photo Editing: Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop for color correction, cropping, retouching, compression, and optimization for both web and social media formats.
  • Web Production: Working knowledge of HTML and CSS. Ability to take existing coded page templates and make visual refinements, swap images, and adjust layout details. You do not need to build pages from scratch, but you need to be comfortable working in code.
  • WordPress (basic): Familiarity with the WordPress CMS for uploading media, basic page assembly, and content placement. Deep WordPress development skills are not required.
  • Brand Design: Strong eye for visual consistency, typography, color application, and layout. Experience applying brand guidelines across a large set of deliverables.
  • Graphic Design: Ability to create UI elements, icons, headers, and branded graphics. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or Figma.
  • Attention to Detail: This role is about the last 10% - pixel-level consistency, proper image sizing, correct color values, clean responsive behavior. Precision matters.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have a personal vehicle and valid driver's license for travel to job sites across Southern California. Mileage reimbursement provided.
